What does it mean to take the Angel Pledge?

Do one positive thing daily to support my mental wellness.
I will have a written self-care plan.
Identify 5 self-care activities I enjoy and make a list to use when I’m feeling down.

Check in on people I care about (am concerned about).
Tell someone if I am struggling emotionally.
Obtain a home safety kit and ensure all medications and firearms in my home are stored securely and safely.

Promote the importance of therapy.
Learn the warning signs for suicide.

I will speak out against division and promote help seeking.
I will share messages of awareness and hope through my spheres of influence (friends, family, coworkers, clubs, groups, social media connections, etc.).

Register to attend a Mental Health First Aid, QPR or other training in my area and encourage others to do so.
